Description of the main building
You enter the house through a small foyer from which you have access to an office room, a bathroom as well as a “tower room”, which is currently being used as a guest room. The “tower room” is accessible over a charming spiral staircase. In the main building you will find the living and dining room. Both have access to the northern terrace. Around the living room area you will find the bed room with its own bathroom as well as the big kitchen with an open grill and access to the southern terrace. The kitchen terrace is fully equipped including a pizza oven.
Through the living room you enter a large hall. The old construction elements of the former stable have been integrated in the hall and create a rustic atmosphere which is even more emphasized by the exposed natural stone walls. At the moment the hall is being used as dining room and equipped with a multi media system. From the hall you have access to the western terrace.
All terraces offer a fantastic view over the surrounding hilly landscape and the mountains and are ideal locations for private summer parties.
Original appearance
All the floors in the main building are natural stone floors. The floors in the holiday apartments, the big hall and the “tower room” are covered with Cotto tiles. The original appearance of the oak-beam Mattoni stone ceiling has been retained. The roof is covered with so-called monk and nun tiles which is characteristic for Italy.
The re-built barn
The old barn has been professionally re-built. After further reconstruction and previously obtained permits it can be used as a guest house.
The pool area is located at the upper end of the property and is a perfect spot to relax. From here you can see the Mountains Monte Catria, the adjacent Monte Petrano as well as Monte Nerone in the West. From the pool area you have a perfect panoramic view and you can enjoy the breathtaking sunsets with a glass of your own self-made wine.
